Coffee Shops Carytown

Let's be honest: for java lovers like our REALTORS®, every day is coffee day. But Tuesday, September 29 has been officially declared National Coffee Day, so why not celebrate? Luckily, there are plenty of local coffee shops serving up delicious roasts in our area! Get your favorite drink or try a new one at one of these popular Carytown coffee shops around Richmond homes for sale

  1. Sugar & Twine - 2928 W. Cary St., Richmond, VA 23221
Sugar & Twine isn't satisfied with simply offering the finest locally roasted coffee. They want to satisfy your sweet tooth with a mouthwatering selection of muffins, croissants, cookies, and other freshly baked goodies. If you prefer something more hearty, go with the breakfast sandwich on focaccia bread or cheddar biscuits. Stop in on the weekend and unwind with a cold beer or glass of wine.

  2. Roastology Coffee - 2701 W. Cary St., Richmond, VA 23220
With a name like Roastology Coffee, you know they're serious about their craft. Top-quality coffee beans are roasted in-house to create every day and seasonal blends. and you can even purchase ready-to-use half-gallon jugs of iced lattes and cold brew. Turn your beverage into a light breakfast or lunch by pairing it with one of Roastology's sandwiches, salads, or pastries. Order ahead on the website or just stop by the shop's convenient roll-up window.

  3. Lamplighter Coffee Roasters - 116 S. Addison St., Richmond, VA 23220
Few things are as satisfying as a cup of joe, but maybe you're in the mood to try something adventurous. Lamplighter Coffee Roasters features specialty drinks such as Thai coffee, lavender latte, and a black eye, which is drip coffee turbo-charged with a double shot of espresso. Feeling hungry? Breakfast burritos come in regular and vegan varieties, or you can opt for a sandwich on a locally-made Cupertino bagel.

  4. Alchemy Coffee - 814 W. Broad St., Richmond, VA 23220
The country's great coffee revolution originated in the Pacific Northwest. When Eric Spivack relocated from Portland to Richmond, he brought some of that coffee culture along to found Alchemy Coffee. In true pioneering spirit, the shop's mission is blending a scientific approach with people's emotional relationship to coffee. Fittingly, Alchemy's website features a flowchart of different coffee preparations, both hot and iced. Coffee is sourced from a rotating list of top local and regional roasters.

  5. Rostov's Coffee & Tea - 1618 W. Main St., Richmond, VA 23220
